The National Geographic magazine, with its long history of covering the world, is changing direction with its latest print edition.
The magazine’s new print edition is titled “The Punch Newspaper” and features images from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, from the Great Depression to World War II.
There are also some new stories, such as an investigation into the birth of the polio vaccine, and a story about the U.S. Postal Service.
“We have the largest newspaper in the world with more than 2 million readers and an audience of more than 60 million, and we’re also going to be launching a new digital product, The Punch Newspaper, in 2018,” said the magazine’s editor, Mark Weisman.
Weisman says the new print format is designed to provide a fresh perspective on the world that readers can find online and get instant access to.
Its also a new way for National Geographic to broaden its audience.
“Our audience is now bigger than ever,” he said.
To celebrate the new format, the magazine is giving away a copy of the new edition to every subscriber, and they can enter in the raffle for the chance to win the magazine in-store or online.
