‘I had to get out’: Former Tennessee Titans star says he’s proud to be Irish

Former Tennessee quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is proud to have been an Irishman.

The Titans star told the Memphis Express-News he is proud of his heritage and is excited to be an Irish American.

Fitzpatrick said he is excited about being an Irish man in a country where he can still be proud of being Irish.

“I’m really proud of my Irish heritage.

My dad was born and raised in Cork.

My mother was born in Galway.

I’m Irish American, but it doesn’t matter.

I just want to be the best player I can be and that’s the most important thing,” Fitzpatrick said.

Fletcher also spoke about his new hometown, the Titans and the new team he plays for in Nashville.

“I am very excited to move here, but we have a lot of work to do.

The Titans are a great organization, but they don’t get credit for what they do on and off the field,” Fitzpatrick told the newspaper.
