Official results of the Kenya Election 2015 have come in, but Kenya has the most-popular daily newspaper in the country.
The Tatas New Journal, which has been in print since 1928, was published on December 10, 2015, with a circulation of more than 14,000,000.
Tata News, which is the main daily newspaper of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, has a circulation more than 8,000 and has been around since 1923.
The Times of Kenya, which first appeared in 1963, has more than 4,000 daily subscribers, with an average daily circulation of around 4,400.
The National Radio and Television (NRT) has a small circulation of about 3,000 subscribers.
“We are in the process of preparing for the next election, which will be held in May 2019,” said Tatas President Mwai Kibaki on December 14.
There are three other daily newspapers in the Kibai region, including the National Television and Radio Corporation (NTTV), which was set up in the 1970s.
Another two newspapers, the New Daily, and the Daily News, are owned by the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC).
The third is the daily newspaper Nairobi News, published by the national newspaper company.
Nairobi is Kenya’s second-largest city and the capital city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), where most of the country’s armed conflict has taken place.
